Sick Mother In Intensive Care Unit

by Diana
(Houston, Texas, USA)

My mom has been an inspiration to me my whole life. Her devotion to Mother Mary has always left me amazed and perplexed because of my lack of understanding. I never fully understoond how powerful it can be. Well here I am now for the first time in over 10 years that I have recited the rosary all for my mom. She is currently in Intensive Care Unit fighting for her life. She has been a diabetic for many years and due to her diabeties her kidneys have deterioated. Her organs are all being overworked. I now understand and believe why my mom would say the rosary for us daily. I have been saying the rosary daily for her and hope to see her recover. Please pray the rosary for my mother's recovery and God bless you all.

My Rosary For Your Family During This Time!
by: Anonymous

Dear Diana,

Tears welled up inside when I read your post about your wonderful, inspirational mother.

After my mother died when I was very young, I adopted Mary as my mother and have turned to her in all my needs. She has been a very patient mother because there have been times in my life that I am sure she was not too happy with my behavior.

Even when I was misbehaving I managed to say my Rosary. While praying the rosary, I felt a bit hypocritical, for on one side I was sinning and the other side I was praying the rosary. I believe it was the recitation of the Rosary that saved me from some extremely bad choices.

Mother Mary was always there for me, patiently waiting for me to come back to her.

It is wonderful that you have turned to her in your time of sorrow because she is the one who knows all too well your suffering for she had to watch her beautiful, perfect son die.

I pray that your mother is doing fine and that you and your family are managing through this heart wrenching time in life. You and your intentions will be included in my Rosary.

Fourth Rosary Promise
The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
