Praying The Rosary During Christmas.

by Patricia Walker
(New Mexico)

I dated a guy, whos family prayed the rosary on Christmas Eve. Now that we are not together, I would like to continue this tradition but do you pray the Joyful Mysteries on Christmas Eve no matter what day it lands on or do you go by the set calendar (i.e..Monday & Saturday-Joyful, Tuesday & Friday-Sorrowful, etc...).

The Joyful Mysteries on Christmas and Sundays during the Season
by: The Rosary Team

You should pray the Joyful Mysteries on Christmas. Christmas starts at nightfall on Christmas Eve so the Joyful Mysteries can be prayed that evening too. In fact the Joyful Mysteries should be prayed on every Sunday during the Christmas Season.

Fourth Rosary Promise
The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
