I am asking for prayers and support as I am losing my home, trying to take care of my mother who is in Stage 4 Alzheimer's disease and have just lost my job. I have no money and I am in incredible debt and don't know where to turn except God. Two years ago I lost a job that I had for 32 years and it took me well over a year to find another one and that was only part time. I just celebrated my year anniversary at this new job and was let go this past Monday! I am asking God for the courage to go on and take care of my mother who relies on me! I have no one to rely on except God and sometimes find it hard to pray because I am so depressed. I find myself to be numb at this time and am asking for help and strength. Thank you!

 Prayers For Debt Relief

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those poor and especially those whose poverty is caused by the greed of others. I live in Ireland where a large minority of ordinary people are in financial difficulty mainly because they are in "negative equity", and many have become unemployed because of the ongoing recession here. In this locality, it has been reported in the local press, that some children are going to bed hungry. Consistent poverty means that these children are living in households with incomes below 60% of the national median income and experiencing deprivation based on the agreed eleven deprivation indicators. This can mean going 24 hours without a substantial meal or being cold because parents are unable to afford to heat the home. This in a country which not long ago was boasting of being one of the worlds wealthiest countries [Celtic Tiger?].The incredible greed of the few has caused the incredible need of the many. May God forgive all of us who sat back and said or did nothing.
