Prayer For A New Job

I am not happy were I work. It’s almost three years that I work at the same place. During these 3 years I have been sending applications to different places and companies without any results. Last month I got an answer from the companies I dream to work for.


I Have a Bachelors' degree and finishing my Masters. And during the process the company sends me a letter thanking me for applying after the second meeting. My world collapsed because I put all of my energy into getting the job. Not long afterwards my grandfather past away.

I am really tired of searching for a new job but I cant stay at my present job. I dread going to work everyday. Can you help me please by praying for me? I don’t know how to pray anymore or how to approach the situation. I am broken inside... I don’t know which road to take.....

I need prayer. I am struggling emotionally to keep a positive attitude. I have been praying and working on getting another job. As a new graduate and have been working at my job for more than 26 years, its hard to go into work and just be normal. I hate what I do, I am not using my full potential but I try real hard to be a loving Christian. Please pray for me to get out of this job and find a new one. Please pray for me that I find peace and can use my talents for God's purpose. Pray for me that I may find joy in another job.

 Prayer for a new job

Like others that have posted here, I too am asking for prayer to find a new job. I have been at my job for over 27 years, and in the last 15 years this company and the job itself has been unbearable; and like many on here have stated, I have stayed in this job because it pays the mortgage and it worked with my school schedule. Now, that I have graduated with a Bachelor's in Business I have been job searching with no results. I ask YOU my Christian family to pray for me and the many others who are in this position for a new job, and a more healthier life with out all this stress and worry.

I'm coming to you humbly as I now how. I'm asking that you bless me with another job. Father God, I pray for a job that pays me more than the job I have now. I pray for the job to be not too far from my home, friendly co-workers, and a good boss, and good work for me to do. Please Father God, bless me with my job I have now until I find another job. I need prayer to find a better job. I been at my job for 10 years. And I don't even make $15.00 an hour and its hard to pay my bills. Once I do pay everything I have only like $20.00 left. I never get to spend time with my family because I work at night, I'm looking for a day job. Please Pray For Me And My Family.

Dear Lord. I am a sinner and i feel ashamed to ask you for anything given that you have blessed me with good health, life, wonderful husband and amazing kids among other great blessings. I am terrible in praying but here I come oh Lord, seeking again yet your mercies and forgiveness of my sins and your grace to be upon me.

I am not happy where i work though i am truly appreciative of the income i get that enable me meet my family needs. I seek your hand to be raised upon me as i search for a new job and that i shall get shortlisted and get a job upon your will. Jesus, I understand that losing my job was a blessing in disguise. You and I know very well why this happened to me. I thank You for teaching me a very important lesson that I will live by for the rest of my life.

Jesus, I ask you now that I am ready to return to work to please bless me with a job where I can contribute fruitfully to a company, where I can strive and give all the best of my talents.

Also, thank You for helping me and my family during these hard times and allowing us to sustain ourselves financially without risking debt or borrowing money.

Dear God, Thank you for all your blessings that you have bestowed upon me and my family! I am your devout servant. I know that I am a sinner and I beg for your forgiveness. I know that I should be thankful for having a job when so many others don't have a job but please O God help me get another job.

At times I hate going to that place that is so ugly. I have been there for 15 years and at times I feel I'm going out of my mind. I hold on because my family needs the medical insurance and I'm trying to work on my retirement. It has been a miracle that I've stayed and I have done so because you have carried me.

 In Need of Prayer

Lord Jesus,

You said "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it will be opened to you." I've been in my position for six years and I am very depressed. I can no longer deal with the unfairness within this organization.

I am an intelligent hard-working employee and it's difficult to seek other job opportunities or take training courses that will help with career advancement. Also, I feel that my employer discriminates between employees. Throughout my years with this organization I have been humble at work, but have dealt with depression and anxiety because of my job.

Recently, I applied for a position within a different organization, which offers great opportunities and benefits. Over the past six years, I have applied for many jobs and I have been heartbroken when people made me believe that I was chosen for the job, but selected someone else.

Please pray for me. God I know YOU make all things possible. And I'm praying that you will work a miracle for me to get this position. I hope everyone reading this will pray for me.

I have worked for almost four years and to tell you the gospel truth, the salary can't cover for the family and myself. I really pray the good Lord will open a new door for me. With the same qualification

PRAYER FOR A NEW JOB.

In the day of prosperity be joyful, But in the day of adversity consider: Surely God has appointed the one as well as the other, So that man can find out nothing that will come after him.

Ecclesiastes 7:14

Our most gracious and loving Father, You have most lovingly and graciously said that You have loved us with and everlasting love. We acknowledge, Lord, that Your love for us is deeper that the ocean and bigger than the biggest need in our heart.

Father, all my longings lie open before You and my sighing is not hidden from You. I commit myself as well as the need for a new job into Your most precious and loving hands. Lord God, fulfill the desire of my heart and bless the work of my hands.

The Bible says, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him." I am completely trusting in Your merit and Your faithfulness this hour.

I am certain that You can make a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. You can open a way where there seems to be no way.

O Lord, as I go through the selection procedures, let Your mighty uplifted hand rest upon me and grant me Your supernatural grace and mercies in the eyes of all the concerned officials. Please perfect everything that concerns me.

 Touched, but don't lose hope...

i was in the same position you was in only it was for thirteen years! i was so stressed that after i got the job i was praying for, it took about six weeks to let go of the anger stress resentment or whatever u wanna call it, that i had for this place that i honestly was losing faith in getting away from before it crippled me gave me a heart attack or i passed out from a heat stroke or just snap mentally.

i was losing it fast then the door finally opened and it all worked out to get me out from where i was stuck. i have been at my knew job exactly one year and i don't wanna leave but i do wanna advance to make more money because i had too take a pay cut and drive farther to get this job. so i have now bid on a more advanced job and am praying everyday that i get it.

when i read your prayer it reminded me of myself and how miserable i was i had just gotten remarried very happily married but eventually my job started dragging me down so i left and never looked back i hope my prayers for the job i want get answered just like yours are fixing too. God bless.

I pray in good faith daily. I need...or must leave a job that causes me much pain and anguish. I hope and pray that I will get a job that I have been dreaming about.
