Need Questions For Group Discussion

by John

Hi,

I lead a young adult group at my parish and we are going to be discussing the Rosary on Sunday. Is there anyone who could suggest some questions I should ask the group to stimulate discussion on this important topic? Thank you.

John

Questions To Whet Their Appetite
by: The Rosary Team

Dear John,

Some great questions to get a Rosary discussion going are as follows...

What is prayer?
Why do we pray?
What are the two forms of prayer?
What is vocal prayer?
What is mental prayer?
How does the Rosary combine these two forms of prayer?
How do the 20 mysteries of the Rosary teach us about the life of Jesus and His Mother?
What fruits will we develop if we make a lifelong commitment to praying the daily Rosary? (each Rosary Mystery has a related fruit. i.e. The Annunciation, humility)
How does the Rosary draw us closer to Jesus and teach us His teachings?
Why has Mary asked that we pray the Rosary daily?

And on and on it goes. This is just a brief synopsis that will get them thinking and interested. Notice the areas of interest then come back and post a comment to your original comment and maybe we can continue exploring particular areas of interest. If you need help finding "answers" to the questions above, use the search feature on the top left side of this site.

Fourth Rosary Promise
The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
