My Blessed Mother Guided Me To Her Immaculate Heart

by Charmaine Nathanielsz
(Sri Lanka)

About 4 years ago...my Mom came home to live with me and my husband...my Mom use to recite five Rosaries every day...and I was drifting away from my daily routine of prayers...only getting involved in finding time to watch movies...internet...and other stuff, which was driving me farther away from my obligations to God...only that I begin the day with a one Our Father, Hail Mary Gloria..as the days went by...I was begining to have sudden moods of anger and frustration towards my mom....and this even led me to ridicule her for praying...our arguements did not stop..until we decided to take her back to our country of orgin...and since I got back and it was the begining of Lent that I started asking the Blessed Mother to Guide me...and it didnt take long to start reciting my Rosary, I observed the Holy season of Lent...by not watching movies, or been carried away...with other worldly matters...the Power of the Most Holy Rosary has made a tremendous change in my life...im more closer to Jesus and Mary...and now i cant pass a day without reciting the Rosary...as if I don't I feel so empty and lost...the Power of the Rosary has taught me to over come many things in my life...I find peace and joy...within me....I realize the issues I had with my Dear mom was that each time she was praying the Rosary...Satan used me as a tool to attack my mom....I pray and ask forgiveness from Jesus to forgive me for my ignorance...not knowing that evil was using me against my mom...But I love my mom...and because she is a good Mother that she is always with a forgiving heart knowing my weakness...I take the opportunity to thank my Heavenly Mother...for guiding and instructing me in her footsteps and leading me to pray the Rosary everyday...I wish everyone else who is living this state of life the way I did...will turn to the Blessed Mother for guidance...because she is a wonderful Mother to all her children...Thank you and God bless.

In Jesus & Mary I remain.

A Spiritual Battle
by: The Rosary Team

It is amazing how the clamor of the world sucks us in. We are all guilty of this. It is so much easier to sit and watch TV or surf the net than it is to sit down and pray the Rosary. This is both psychological and a temptation from the devil. It is psychological in the sense that it is easier for the brain to engage in a passive activity like TV versus an active activity like meditating and praying. But we all know how much Satan hates the Rosary and anytime we feel too lazy to pray it, there is definitely a spiritual battle going on.

It is wonderful you were able to recognize this, not to mention overcome your trial. Thank you for sharing your story. It helps us all keep on the right track. And God bless your mother for her example of perseverance.

Good Role Models
by: Justine

This is how important good role models are, and how deeply great the influence of people close to us in our lives.

I love your story. It goes to show how powerful the Rosary is when it comes to the conversion of many.

Fourth Rosary Promise
The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
