Marriage Restoration After Major Illness

by Dale

Please pray for my wife and I to fully restore our marriage. I suffered a stroke 3 years ago and have only now come to a point of being mostly healed. (praise Jesus for this healing). The roles in our family had to almost completely reverse as I was sick and then began to improve.

But as I improved to become more sufficient, my wife announced after 20 years of marriage she is tired of being married to me. She is angry, resentful and completely wants me out of her life. It seems cruel to come back only to face this complete rejection of my wife; I am lost and scared and unsure.

I pray as I have prayed for health for the last 3 years. Please pray that my wife will open her heart again.

The crushing burden of medical bills has been a major issue so pray for finances also. My wife has become completely unreasonable. Also instead of us getting any marriage counseling she flatly refuses any and all help.

My wife had always been kind and gentle, loving in all areas but after what has happened her hardness of heart, while understandable, is frightening. Pray with me for her peace, salvation for her soul and clear vision of Christ’s will for her life and our marriage and family.

Pray with and for us please.
Thanks

Fourth Rosary Promise
The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
