Is It Acceptable To Make Rosaries On Sunday?

(Mobile, AL)

I would like to make rosaries on Sunday, but I know it is considered a day of rest. Would it be okay to make rosaries on Sunday?

Most Likely Yes!

As long as your intentions are good, making rosaries is a great thing to do on Sunday. That is, if you are doing it to help others (or yourself) get closer to God then it is a holy endeavor that is perfect for the Lord's day. If, for some reason, you felt obligated to do this, and Sunday was the only day you had, and it was a chore done out of obligation rather than an act of love, well, it might not be the best thing for Sunday. That's probably not the case, though.

Fourth Rosary Promise
The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
