I Was Converted By Praying One Rosary!

by Klara
(Croatia, Europe)

Half a year ago, I was a lukewarm believer. I went to church every Sunday and I thought it makes me better than others. I followed fashion, I loved makeup and I was willing to gossip others to become popular. I still considered myself a good Catholic. However, Mary converted me! I read a book about Medjugorje and I found out that Mary wants us to pray the rosary every day. One day at school I felt a strong pain and I had to go home earlier. I have never felt such a strong pain, so I think that this pain was a gift from God! I took pills, started to pray the rosary, and after rosary I watched the movie about St. Anthony. Then I decided to pray the rosary every day and I decided to change my life. Since then my life really changed! I became aware of my weaknesses, I stopped caring about fashion, make up and money, I "felt in love" with the poverty, I prayed more intensively and I am committed to Jesus through Mary (Louis Montfort's consecration to Mary), and decided to persevere in the faith! I'm still weak, but now I believe in Mary's help in my life, and I know she will bring me to Jesus and make me holy only if I completely dedicate myself to her. Only one rosary changed my life forever. In addition, I felt a spiritual call - I feel that God calls me to be a Poor Clare Colettine, and to live in enclosure, praying and fasting all the time, and I am very happy about it! I love Mary and I love the Lord, and my favorite prayer now is Holy Rosary!

God bless you for sharing your beautiful story. My husband & I visited Medjugorje a few years ago (he is Croatian) & we've been reading books about it ever since. I've been desperately searching for answers to my questions about God & the past few months had really fallen out of touch with God & felt myself slipping into a very dark & negative place. I received an email about a book which reminded me of Medjugorje except it's called Kibeho in Africa. The Virgin Mary also appears there & many miracles have happened. The book talked about the importance of praying the rosary & I felt really compelled to pray. What happened to me after this is absolutely God's work. I felt instantly changed after praying the rosary for the first time. I've been praying it every day for the past 2 weeks & I've been completely changed. The darkness & negativity has melted away & I feel so much love & peace in my heart. I feel that Mary, God & Jesus are with me always & I find myself longing to pray. I want to start helping people & living God's word. I pray everyday that everyone in the world will come to understand the importance of prayer so they too can experience God's love in their hearts. May God bless us all!

Wonderful, to hear a connection not just between the Rosary and extraoridanry miracles- but the Rosary leading us to simple holiness and the desire to give ones whole life to God. That's ultimately what it's all about!

Fourth Rosary Promise
The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
