Stress In My Apartment
by: THOMAS

I live in a group home in Quincy I don't like it at all. I feel that trouble happens there a lot that's why I feel I don't like it. When I feel angry about anything the staff doesn?t care, they still talk to me even if I tell them I don't want them to. Also regarding my seizures they cause problems about that as well. I really feel I need to calm down there. I even run away a lot because of that I don't feel any respect comes to me from any staff person at all.

I need some respect so this is one other reason why I am trying to find a way to learn the rosary to pray more and learn more to calm down a lot more than I have before. I have lots and lots of stress around my life, even when people die in my life. I too need spiritual aid.

Some Good Links
by: Jerald Franklin Archer

William,

I understand your pain, as I go through the same thing. Remember to offer your afflictions up to Our Lord. The Rosary and Holy Scripture are very helpful in seeing that all is not that bad in your own life--once you consider what Christ and His Blessed Mother went through.

You will find a good amount of information about how to pray the rosary online (by a simple search "how to pray the rosary) and this site here that you posted on.

I have a personal site at:

http://theholyrosary.synthasite.com/

Be careful if you begin to search scripture online, and the web is full of a great deal of sites that promote Sola Scriptura (literal and personal translation of holy scripture). Many of these types of site also promote anti-catholic sentiments and can really more confusing than helpful. I found that Catholic Answers is a very informative site where others can help answer many questions:

Here is a page

http://home.inreach.com/~bstanley/favor.htm

from a site that has a great deal of very good information on Catholic matters. It gives some key verses that deal with certain situations. It is important when you are reading or using the holy scriptures not to read them out of context. It is a bad practice to attempt to interpret them in a literal sense or personal bias. Always consult a priest when your feeling confused and they should be able to direct you--this is part of their job. God Bless You and you are in my prayers.

Fourth Rosary Promise
The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
