Before The First Mystery Is Announced
by: The Rosary Team

When praying the Rosary, it is customary to mention any intentions or prayer requests after the introductory prayers and before the first mystery is announced using a formula such as, "I offer this Rosary for..." Use your own words and ask for whatever it is you need through Mary.

So Only the First Mystery

Ahhhh, so it's okay if I just ask favors before the first mystery only? :)

Yes and No
by: The Rosary Team

It is okay to ask for favors before the first mystery, but not only then. There is not a specific formula to mentioning petitions or asking for favors during the Rosary. You can mention your requests whenever you want. Most often people do so before the first mystery, sometimes it is mentioned before the Rosary is begun, some people even mention a different intention before each mystery. You do it however you like best.

Fourth Rosary Promise
The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
