How Long Should You Pray For Intentions?

by Edward
(Oceanside, CA USA)

How long should you pray for intentions, one month, six months? Because so many intentions need to be prayed for. I know when I pray my prayers are heard, so how many times should I pray for the same intention? Most of the time our prayers are answered and we don't even notice until we open our eyes and recognize what's right in front of us the whole time.

Pray With Trust
by: The Rosary Team

Because the Rosary is a private devotion there is no prescribed amount of time you should pray for a specific intention. But we will offer this advise...

...Pray with complete trust in God's goodness with perseverance, never giving up, God's time is not our time, so be patient and keep praying even if the answer never seems to come.

Fourth Rosary Promise
The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
