Do I Pray The Same Mysteries All Day?

by Denis
(Canada)

The Virgin Mary tells us we should pray, pray, pray. Does she mean to pray the Rosary over and over again. For example, if it's a day to say the Glorious Mysteries, do I pray the Glorious Mysteries over and over again that day?

Meditate On Different Mysteries While You Pray The Rosary
by: The Rosary Team

When you pray the Rosary, pray while meditating on different sets of mysteries. The mysteries for each day are offered as a suggestion. Start by praying the day's suggested mystery then move on to the next set of mysteries.

A suggested way would be to pray the Joyful mysteries, then the Luminous mysteries, then the Sorrowful mysteries followed by the Glorious mysteries.

Another suggestion is to buy a good meditation guide. We would recommend Father Peyton's Rosary Prayer Book..

Fourth Rosary Promise
The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
